Video Re-Enactments

Perhaps the most effective method to share your version of events which lead to an accident, a crime, or another particular circumstance is simply to re-create the moment. Legal Services Limited is uniquely positioned amongst all legal exhibit vendors because our founder, Michael Shortt, p.g.a., is a veteran of the entertainment business and has produced re-enactment videos for “America’s Most Wanted”. They were so effective that all fugitives on his six re-enactments were captured! We have a proven professional writer/director/producer available to oversee your re-enactment video and will keep it as realistic; there is no need to caution us to keep it real because all the “Hollywood” experience is tempered by 30+ years of investigative experience as well. Count on Legal Services Limited to deliver a quality production on time, on budget, and that works to support your interpretation of events.

Day in the Life Videos

“Day in the Life” is simply an opportunity to share the day to day conditions experienced by your client or late client. A series of interviews are conducted on camera which demonstrates how they function in their daily lives, this includes showing how they accomplish everything that normal people do from the moment they wake up from sleeping until they go to bed again. In the event the subject has been physically injured through no fault of their own and must use prosthetics, a walker, wheelchair, specialized medical devices, we share each experience to demonstrate their quality of life and how some event has impacted them negatively. There are few testimonies that can equal the visceral feelings associated with watching in real-time as another human being suffers.

Documentaries

A documentary is usually produced when the victim of an accident or crime is no longer present to share their story. Michael Shortt has made many documentaries for settlement purposes as well as for events and noble causes. Legal Services Limited endeavors to honor the person by sharing their story as realistically and as honestly as possible. It would not be unusual for members of the court to be moved emotionally by viewing a life condensed into a few minutes of video imagery, it can be a powerful tool in illustrating the loss of that person to loved ones, coworkers, and the community.

Photography

Truly a photo is worth a thousand words, then what must an entire photo-filled PowerPoint Presentation be worth when presented on an eight-foot widescreen in the courtroom? How powerful are 11” x 14” glossy photos mounted on foam core boards when they are passed amongst jurors to see the actual location of an event, to see physical injuries? Never underestimate the power of an image.
